Big Brothers Big Sisters Association of Florida is proud to award 2-year Florida College scholarships to qualifying high school juniors and seniors enrolled in our mentoring programs. These scholarships are available as a result of a generous contribution from Florida Power & Light with a dollar-for-dollar matching donation from the Florida Prepaid College Foundation.

The Coke Florida Refreshing Minds Scholarship is an impactful partnership alongside the Florida Prepaid College Foundation and its Path to Prosperity program. Designed to reward high-potential scholars, this program has just concluded its successful third year of a ten-year runway, distributing both 4-Year University and 2-Year College Scholarships.

Farah & Farah Empowering Greatness 2026 Scholarship Recipients

Launched in 2020 and inspired by the powerful words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Farah & Farah Empowering Greatness Scholarship honors high school seniors showing academic excellence and an active dedication to volunteer service. Awardees receive a Florida Prepaid College Foundation 2-Year College Plan covering 60 tuition credit hours at any Florida public college, university, or trade school.

Path to Prosperity Scholarship Program Powered by TECO 2026 Recipients

The Florida Prepaid College Foundation (FPCF) and TECO are proud to award tuition resources to dedicated students residing across key community zones in Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, and Polk Counties. Through this specialized initiative, recipients receive a Florida Prepaid College Foundation 2-Year College Plan.
